Unfortunately there is no international school located in or around the town of Bodrum but there is a private school that teaches lessons in English and helps children from foreign countries to learn the Turkish language. The Marmara College is located in Bodrum itself and offers classes from kindergarten to high school.
The kindergarten (Preschool) is available for children between the ages of 3 and 6 and is optional. This part of the Marmara College offers numerous facilities for children and prepares them for further education. Classes generally start at 8:30 and finish at 16:00. Classrooms have a maximum of 15 students in order for teachers to be able to take care of each student individually.
The Primary School that is housed within the Marmara College employs Turkish as well as foreign native teachers. Group works, school trips, reading hours, tournaments, a cafeteria in which breakfast, lunch and tea is offered, a wide range of educational facilities which include science and English Language laboratories and much more is featured. From the 6th grade to the 8th grade students will also be able to join English aided education in mathematic and science lessons.
Also featured by the Marma Collage is a high school in which students can choose from a wide range of professional education and numerous facilities
