The International Terminal at Milas-Bodrum Airport serves Turkey's southern Aegean coastal resorts. It is 53km from Gumusluk and about an hour’s drive.
Turkey is a large country spanning 1700 km from east to west. If you travel by road this will take you several days. Flying time across the country takes about two hours and because of the way international airfares are structured it is often far cheaper to purchase your domestic flight tickets within Turkey rather than your home country. A good Turkish travel agency can make the reservation and get the tickets to you, usually at no charge.
You can also buy your tickets at a Turkish airport, but with Turkish tourism booming, there may be no seats left on the plane and advance reservations are highly recommended.
